So called Machine Vision/AI is actually Human Vision/HI

I have finally found out that the so called AI Machine Vision is actually HI (Human Intelligence) or Human Vision.

Those big tech companies outsource huge tasks of identifying and tagging visual objects in real world to "blood & sweat" software factories which in turn hire huge amount of human labours to tag objects in our everyday living.  It goes without saying that wages of labours in "blood & sweat" factories are super low.

It is the whole background of the so called autonomous driving or Machine Vision.

Then, we add the good old scientific core of Cybernetics and Control System Engineering, we will have a so called autonomous vehicle.

ntewinkel I'm sure that this was in someone's vision for city taxis - at some point.  Can you imagine the latency?  OR, as you state, they all of a sudden bust into Need for Speed or Gran Turismo mode?  I'm still amazed that drones can be piloted as remotely as they are.

My favorite is still Test Drive: Eve of Destruction.  Where else can you drive a bus in a demolition derby and shoot chickens at your opponents? Laughing

In Physics, we called this a "Phase Change" or "Critical Phenomenon".
