Scratch project for PiFace demo

Scratch project file created based on the Scratch demo shown in the PiFace documentation:

"Controlling Pi Face with Scratch"

https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B-UAZ9CyJCLGQjJ3RDlqa2pqaDg/edit?docId=1M0jz7-vaR8mwM4Gc4dBJyh4EheXHd0BCkpBWOEqMOUY

See below under Attachments the file piface1.sb.zip .  Download the file and unzip it.  Scratch should be able to open piface1.sb.  Note: you will first need to follow the instructions in the "Controlling Pi Face with Scratch" link above to get Scratch setup correctly.  (This involves starting a Mesh session and then running the PiFace handler script to connect to the Mesh session.  This allows Scratch to interact with the PiFace.)

Hi - it's been awhile since I've interacted with Scratch and PiFace. The Raspberry Pi space here on element14 Community is a good place to ask questions. piface is the creator of PiFace I believe.  Their github https://github.com/piface lists pi@cs.man.ac.uk and also http://pi.cs.man.ac.uk/

This is exactly what I would like to accomplish with Scratch.  Being quite new with graphical programming however is a limitation.  I have Scratch set up and am able to host / mesh etc.  But... I am unsure how to get the' "drop downs for variables to work as they do in the variable blocks themselves.  i.e. how do I get  "piface-input1" Sensor Valule = numberI ..( I only have the usual Scratch inputs to choose from.  I Have the piface1.sb file loaded and running, and works with your program.  This assures me that I am missing the requisite scratch understanding to continue.  Any recommendations as to where to get help??

Excellent jumping off point for more work with the PiFace.  I hope to see more PiFace & Gertboard projects in the near future... including one I have in the works ;-)  Thanks for all the information and help Drew!
