from usb to wireless

Hello,

I have a data logger connected to a PC via USB. I would like to turn this connection into a wireless one: I mean to connect the USB port of the data logger to a wireless transmitter, whose receptor will be connected to the PC via USB, bearing in mind that I will have approximately 100 meters between the transmitter and the receptor and that the rate of exchanged data is very low.

How could I success in doing that at a very low  cost and easily?

Best,

E. Vial

    Hello

With LM Technologies Ltd Bluetooth you have two solutions:

1: if your datalogger has an RS232 port you can use our LM048 Bluetooth Adapter http://www.lm-technologies.com/business/bluetooth-adapters/LM048/rs232-cable-replacement on the datalogger and a USB adapter on the PC http://www.lm-technologies.com/business/bluetooth-adapters/LM540/bluetooth-usb-adapter-class-1

2: if your datalogger has a USB port then LM060 convertor http://www.lm-technologies.com/business/accessories/LM060/rs232-to-usb-adapter and then LM048 http://www.lm-technologies.com/business/bluetooth-adapters/LM048/rs232-cable-replacement

With USB adapters you need to load the drivers from a download or CD. Our LM048 Adapters can be configured on a PC and then connected to your datalogger. Where your datalogger has USB port only using the LM060 convertor allows the Bluetooth connection without any modification to your datalogger application.

Our Bluetooth Adapters have a range of up to 100m. If you need more than 100m you can change the antenna  http://www.lm-technologies.com/business/antennaon on our LM058 http://www.lm-technologies.com/business/bluetooth-adapters/LM058/rs232-cable-replacement---external-antenna and LM540 http://www.lm-technologies.com/business/bluetooth-adapters/LM540/bluetooth-usb-adapter-class-1

    kind regards
