You can buy cheap postal scales on Ebay, and remove the load cells, They are quality and precise as they have to be.
The problem is changing torque to linear force or vice versa.

What was the cheapest you could find on ebay - I didn't see one for less than £10. The very cheap ones don't always contain a removable load cell.

That's about right for buy it now with shipping. I bid on one and got out half that. You'll be hard pressed to buy a load cell for that price. So i guess cheap is subjective.
As I posted above - you can buy 100g loadcells from Alliexpress for £4.19 each, free shipping.
That way you get as many as you want with a drawing etc. They won't be very good for that money but probably better than you get in a cheapo postal scale.

I disagree about quality. Further I'm not sure 100g is enough. Postal scale will measure Kg. To the OP. Is 100g enough?
