I would look for the smallest ultrasonic transceivers - here is a waterproof example:
You may want a more uniform beam pattern depending on your geometry.
can it be used in medical imaging?
Technically it could do something, but getting medical certification is a whole other question.
Also if you want to do ultrasound or sonar in something denser than air, you might go to much higher frequency transducers. Anywhere from 0.5 MHz to 6 MHz.
Thank you ..
can you suggest me some transducers which have been used in medical ultrasound imaging.
Regards,
You'll need to do some internet searching - you'll find that it's much harder to get information on medical imaging sensors than sensors for industrial purposes. I think that this is because the manufacturers of medical imaging equipment tend to make their own. I found a few research papers but mainly hidden behind paywalls.

hi Micheal,
You are absolutely right, its really hard to get information regarding ultrasound imaging transducers. Thank you so much for your efforts. Still if you find any of my need, please suggest.

I don't know about medical applications but these are about as cheap as I've seen for ultrasonic transducers in the MHz range:
Thank you,
Any transducers in your knowledge that have 16x16 number of elements ?
