And no photo at all! the device worked before it ,the console (screens too),at the beginning I wanted to talk it again with a friend because the treadmill worked not in the morning (because of the humidity)we changed some components that looked good even when the display failed! So I think it’s quartz!

    Hi Christophe,

Someone has changed the capacitors too (they are to the left side of the quartz crystal in the photo). Did the board work with all these modifications?

The capacitors don't look correct to me (I would expect them to be thinner).

It was a mistake to change the crystal when the display stopped working.. Anyway, without information on the red arrow highlighted part, there's not anything to go on here.

If you can provide the detail of the red arrow part, then some crystal and capacitor suggestions can be made but it will be trial-and-error. And it may still not fix the display issue.

a ok ,effectively ,we should not have touched the quartz! ,d besides not being able to test it ,it can be good vs think? and that the concern will come from the fact that we are changing the components? thank you bcp

    Hi Christophe,

I don't recognise this. Maybe others who respond might.

You could try guessing and try any 8 MHz or a 12 or 16 MHz crystal, and see if it works or not. A significant problem is you've now got at least two things to try to solve, and they might or might not be related.. finding the correct crystal, and finding the backlight problem.

If someone has swapped out the capacitors and if it has not worked since, then the capacitors need changing too. Since I can't recognise the chip, I don't know what value to suggest.. maybe 12 pF as a starting point. Or you may need to contact the manufacturer and hope they can help (they may or may not help).

also by way of formation ,the quartz was re-soldered a little further because it could not be re-soldered at its location ,I see to vs give back a photo of where it was precisement! desolé d etre aussi mauvais merci

thank you for your answer,in fact we had changed the capacitors and some components to test them with an oscilloscope ( they were good a priori ),we had therefore replaced with others to be on ,and c is at this moment where the quartz c is deprogramming or hs (we must build a quartz test to check it before ,to be sure if it is good or not!

. If someone has swapped out the capacitors and if it has not worked since, then the capacitors need changing too.(Si quelqu’un a remplacé les condensateurs et si cela n’a pas fonctionné depuis, alors les condensateurs doivent changer aussi)

not understood your answer? ! yes we had changed the capacitors ,c is at this moment where the display was lost a priori ,and we remids the old ones but without succes,at the beginning we look for the problem that the treadmill worked only after noon because in the morning, the house where it is found is wet!
