Help with embedded PI

I purchased this screen which I told was compatible with the Raspberry pi (model B) after getting it home I soon realized I was ripped off and the seller was long gone!

this is not the seller but it is the same thing (SEEED 2.8" STUDIO Touch Shield 2770070)

So thinking i'm stuck with a screen I want to work with a raspberry Pi and some research, Someone from customer service at coocox told me that the Embedded PI would be my answer to having the shield work with the raspberry pi, soon after unboxing the embedded pi I realized I bit off way more then I could chew, not to mention I see no instructions that work online to set up the embedded pi or anyone even trying to get the 2 to work together!

Is there anyone out there with the knowledge I need to get these 2 working, even if i lose something like the touchscreen and can only use it as a screen. Anything to get these working!!!

  • The first two errors cause me to believe that you used the copy & paste function, from your web browser, into a text editor (it's happened to me a couple (hundred) times).  Take a close look at the lines gcc is complaining about (in your case, it looks like line 14 in led.c).  Sometimes spaces, tabs, double-quotes, or other special characters don't get translated properly (your browser is likely using a ISO-8859 character set, while gcc is expecting flat ASCII).

     

    Hint: \207 is the double-quote, \303 is a tilde (in extended ASCII).  Edit the complained-about file and re-type the characters in the complained-about lines.

    No matter how many time i try and change encodeing over to iso-8859-1 and copy the items while viewing the page through midora and then save the file with the encoding for iso-8859-1 i get an error depending where i get the info from or the file saves in which i get a whole boat load of problems with line 14 instead of the couple, why is it that I seem to be the only one having this issue?

    Lets just make this really simple before continuing, Do you have a embedded Pi and if so is it the correct card to have to get a 2.8 inch touch shield to work with or do i need something like the alamode?
