I read it and didn't initially reply, because it doesn't seem to have a legitimate purpose, apart from perhaps annoying someone or doing something malicious.

You chose not to provide a use-case, so I chose to interpret it this way.

There is no malicious purpose on this request.

People are interested on this little machine in my area.

    So what is your excuse?

Just tell is it possible to create such this device or not?

Difficult for people to advise without either an example use case or a more detailed specification.

However, given that you can already get handheld cordless cable cutters which can repeatedly slice through large diameter cables, I would expect it would be possible to scale down substantially in order just to do a single cut through a single small diameter network cable.

There are other ways to reduce the size significantly but once again depends on use case.

Complying with local safety regulations might be more of an issue when bypassing safety mechanisms with automated timers and operating autonomously.

    Here is the usage :

I want to put this device around a network cable and leave it for 1 day.

After 1 day it should cut that cable auto.

Device should be in the smallest possible size.

What will happen about that cable or what is the purpose of this mission? This is not our business.

We just create machines and sell them on the market..

What will happen about the cutter after cut?

It can stick on one side of cable.

That's pretty irresponsible. Maybe you should consider the potential consequences, and take some responsibility?

"That's pretty irresponsible. Maybe you should consider the potential consequences, and take some responsibility?"

Why do you bother yourself about it?

The responsibility is on cutter man, Not me as reseller or you as creator.

Is creator of knife responsible on any killing on the street?

    Of course not.

So put your mind on the creation - Not else.
