Rms converter to match HP3400A?

What is your suggestion to match the specs of the HP3400A AC millivoltmeter’s rms converter with analog parts available today? I’m drawing a line to exclude AD conversion and digital rms calculation. So it stays analog.

Below is the spec sheet:

My motivation is “restoration”. This is the only analog instrument I have. I like the retro vibe of the mirrored gauge. Three different rms converters in my parts box already, time to make them work all…

But the shipping is whopping $40. And I’m sure I’ll burn down the first one….

ggabe   So get 4 of them I personally hate sites that tend to screw up with shipping charges! ( but they are the only game in town )

Personally, I do not trust Kynix with a $100 order. They are an open marketplace, and I do not see any reassurance I’m not getting a fake. Same applies to EBay.

Thanks for keeping the convo going. The strange layout led me to look around on ADI's, and now I have a new favorite: ADL5511 for the rebuild.  https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ADL5511.pdf

Looks like they gave higher priority to getting that bottom pad connected. DC-wise, what they did is valid. Maybe at 10 MHz, it's still ok to not have that balanced layout...

You get excellent results considering the markings are not right for a genuine part.

Q1 is per AD specs. What's off with that package?
