How to control the HV converter with analog voltage signal?

Dykan
Dykan over 2 years ago

The HV converter require 24V power supply and some analog voltage signals. I connect two 0~10V voltage signals to the pin of HV converter, 10HVA24-N1. However what I get from the output of HVA is 0V. Is there any thing wrong with my wiring?

Pin 12 is the current monitor output. It will output a voltage that's proportional to the HV current being supplied by the module. Hopefully there's enough resistance in series with the output that you…

So it looks as if your power supply thinks it is working. How is you divider working - (diagram) - its a strange co-incidence that 100uA into 0.63M would give excatly 63V. Your power supply max output…

Interesting device. Reading through the app note that is available on the manufacturer's website I noticed that pin 11 can be driven by TTL. The app note suggests that the level on pin 11 must be at least…

Probably time for photos of your setup, including the power supply, the connections to the device, and how you're testing. Are you using a proper connector for the output? We can't tell. Is your power supply capable of the current draw? Who knows.

We don't know what we can't see, so please supply some detailed photos in case the issue can be identified, and also multimeter measurements of the supply and the current consumption when you enable it. Also, a photo of what're you've connected to the output.

There are not many connections, not a lot to go wrong, so if you supply this detail it will probably help quickly resolve it.

Please, no fuzzy photos, use a bright light if it helps to take the photos,  and no Dropbox etc.. you can add the photos inline in the discussion you created.

The DB15 connector I used is connected to the input control terminal of the HVA, and the tested pins are corresponding and correct. My 24V power supply can supply up to 800W, which definitely meets the needs of HVA
