TENMA 72-13360 , dynamic mode

I  purchased TENMA 72-13360 programmable Dc source, actually my requirement is to change Dc voltage from one level to different level. i am trying it in dynamic mode that is available in the option, but i couldn't achieve it, instead of step change in Dc supply i'm getting ramp change, i am unable to give dynamic number and dynamic step to achieve sudden change in the voltage level. how to set slope to get step change, can any one please help me , it is very urgent for my research work

    Power supplies are typically specialised in keeping steady power. Their output capacity makes that they aren't fast voltage jumpers.

    You may have to use a function generator with DC option for this research.

    The user manual of the Tenma gives some indication of it's "get to voltage" speed:

    Although that doesn't really shows how big of a voltage change it is. I assume here that's the time it maximum takes to reach the set voltage when enabling the output.
