I am not an expert. Your symptoms sound like what I was taught to call "thermal runaway". A component heats up and causes the system to malfunction. Once it cools down, you can try again. I see that your station is electronic. You could open it up and look for poor solder joints (ironic) or connections but it's more likely to be a diode, transistor or capacitor. Without a thermal imager, finding the component will be challenging. I strongly advise against using your finger - even after you unplug the unit - as finding the component will be a painful experience. If you have some old cash register receipts still laying about, some of those were thermal transfer paper. You might try that. Good luck and be careful of mains voltages.
That soldering station appears to be a rebadged Atten GT-5150. The manual is available here - https://www.es.co.th/Documents/GT-5150.PDF
According to the manual, E-6 is the following:
It may be related to poor power quality - check your mains power is stable and clean. Otherwise, it could be a bad cord, power-point, or switch contact. Make sure all cords are firmly plugged in and that any fuses are also properly installed. If there is a manual voltage selector, make sure it's correctly set to the line voltage in your area (or check that the unit you have is correct for your area, especially if you imported this unit from overseas).
Otherwise, it's more likely than not a fault in the base unit and you'll have to send it back for repair or replacement.

Thank you all,
I checked with the thermal camera, nothing to report, and after several tests I concluded a problem with the R37 multi-turn adjustable, the first time I touched it and the iron worked normally again immediately and the second time I turned the adjustable and I am no longer broken.
