Component needed. J605 - Power transistor

hi

I am repairing a US made printer. found a power transistor fault. The part no. printed on the component is J605/56L.

But I am not able to find this part on internet. Any one have any suggestion for this replacement? may be a equivalent one?

 

Any details will help me to solve the issue.

    Hi Nathan,

     

    I only briefly checked, but it could be a reasonable one to try. VGS is a little high compared to the original, so if you can find an alternative then that could be better, but without knowing the rest of the circuit I can't say for sure if it will function in the circuit. It depends on the gate voltage (which could be measured but possibly not easily depending on what the circuit is doing and what tools you have). In summary, worth a try, if this replacement is more easily sourced than the original.

    This is the one I found on the net and easily available, also it comes close to the original one i was looking for. I will give it a try.

    Just to mention, the circuit board is used in a Plastic card printer.
