Does HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor cause harmful effects, when exposed towards human beings ??

    Hi Gunaseelan, No the sound level and frequency are such that you can not harm anyone or anything with the sound emitted by the sensor. In fact, we don't realize it but we are surrounded by ultrasonic…

    Hi Gunaseelan, No the sound level and frequency are such that you can not harm anyone or anything with the sound emitted by the sensor. In fact, we don't realize it but we are surrounded by ultrasonic noise from machines and insects all the time. You can use the sensor without concern.

    of course Dogs could possible hear it (Not 100% sure), also some ultrasonic transducers use clicks that can be picked up by other devices you may be using in the vicinity (Cell phones, camera microphones etc) but as John stated, no risk to us upright mammals image
