Shelly 1 interference with garage door remote

Hi all.

I'm having a problem with a shelly 1 and my garage door remote.

Recently I've connected my two garage door motors with shellys 1 .

One of them is working perfectly fine with the shelly safe inside the motor housing.

The other one, before the shelly, I was able to open the door with the remote from 10m-15m away (32 ft to 49 ft more or less). With the shelly connected, I'm only able to open the door with the remote, just from 5m (16ft) away.

The motor board is not the same - one is TE120 (working fine) and the other one is ATH10 (the situation described above).

One thing I did noticed was (the one where the distance was reduced), when I was testing, I had the shelly on a 10m (32ft) wire, rolled around an aluminum ladder on the wall and it was working fine. When I reduced the wire (to leave everything nice and tidy on the wall), this started to happen.

I use the same remote for both (different buttons) . I've switched the shellys - could it be a faulty one - but the problem remained.

Could a ferrite filter solve the problem ? Or at least attenuate some interference ?

Thank you

UPDATE: I new that shelly could be powered by 24v DC, so I've procured a 24v output - the green PINS bottom left of the pictures - and after searching why I wasn't able to power the shelly with 24v (it…

    glad that it's OK now.

When I had little children, the family on the other side of the street could not open their garage door when we had the baby-phone on.

It took a while to make that connection. They called the service guy multiple times. But because they'd show up the next day during daytime, there was never an issue...
Until they came home from work the next evening and couldn't get in Slight smile

That's really funny (not for the neighbors Slight smile) . But, like many some other cases, it was sheer luck to find out the cause. It's one of those things that could have lasted for long and never find an answer..

A bit like the Singapore Metro in 2016 ?

This Train Has Been Delayed - Uncharted with Hannah Fry
It’s 2016 and Singapore’s metro system is misbehaving wildly. The rail engineers and company officials are flummoxed. Can data save the day?
