Over the past couple years, many of you have entered the Open IoT Challenge, so I feel obliged to let you know about our third edition! We are collecting project applications until next Wednesday, Nov. 30, so you should really think about what you would like to build :-) There's been many new IoT board announced over the past few months (see Internet of Things (IoT) Kits and Platforms Review awesome post by shabaz), and they would all be great candidates to use in your solution

We really have great a prize pool for this third edition, with $3,000 (and some extra swag!) awarded to the grand winner. Also, the 10 best applications will be awarded $150 to buy the hardware parts they need to build their solution, so there is really no reason to not try and apply!a
I am hoping that lots of Element14 community members will enter, and I am really looking forward to reading your submissions!
