IoT security is always at the top of the list of the Big Issues of IoT. There's also a lot of concern about wireless connectivity and power management. What about reliability? How reliable is IoT? Does IoT work when you need it work? If it isn't, what can improve IoT reliability?

The solid state edge hardware is pretty reliable.
My WiFi access point is a little flakey - needs a reboot every month or two.
My router connection to the internet is okay but needs attention a couple of times per year.
The Internet is very good.
I don't really trust the cloud servers yet, not sure I will ever have absolute confidence in them - for several reasons.
My own servers are reasonable - haven't actually had a failure yet.
