    Hi D

What would be an ideal sensor to use on a simple project like a Pedometer, just to measure the steps, convert them to distance and calories, without complicated algorithms .

    Thanks

Regarding the pedometers, I'd check out what manufacturers of accelerometeres have to offer.  Sorry for the delayed reply, didn't see the notice come in on your question.

i wanna build a top for garbage bins with some kind of brush that clears the plait from food and go straight to dishwasher without needing a pressure rinse and save lots of water and make it easier for the waiters to dump the food and hand the plaits to the dishwasher guy, could you help me build something like that? we can share the profits thank you. Regards,Vincenzo

Hi Vincenzo, my company does not offer design services for this type of idea, though there may be someone else out there in element14 who does.  Good Luck!

    Hi Vamshi,

Look at the headset called MindWave from Neurosky.  It is reusable and comes with its own software.

I just ordered one last week for about 110 USD.  I look forward to its delivery.

    Hope this helps.
