    Hello,

I have this accelerometer Sensor. How can i solder this on Copper clad board?? So it won't affect the sensor core! It's very small in size and delicate sensor. http://www.sparkfun.com/products/9605

    Thank you in advance!!

If you have  a board with a footprint suitable for hand soldering (ie with the pads extending well outside the profile of the chip) you can easily solder it on by hand using soldering iron with a very fine point (< 0.5mm wide at tip) and plenty of flux. Use leaded solder for low melting point.

If you don't have a board you could solder very fine (0.1mm dia ) bare wires to the pads and then solder the other ends to stripboard. You could glue the chip upside down to the stripboard. You'll still need that fine point iron.

Hello, i´m a studing in France and right now i´m working in a proyect to developpe an Intelligent Sensor and i need a plateform to developpe my system and i need some some help to choise the correct device, in the first stage i will mesure 3 signal comming from 3 sensors like the ADXL335, ADXL212 and ADXL345BCCZ.ADXL345BCCZ.. so the  caracteristics that i need are:

3 voies( channels) analogiques 12 bits or de entrees PWM or I2C or SPI.

Being capable to integrate 500 equations diferrentiels of second ordre each step of time ( grande puissance de calcul)

Being capable to communicate by a Serial port in 9600 baud for it´s configuration.

Have autonomy of operation and.save the data even in case of cut of the supply voltage, min 2 months

I thank you for your time, and i hope your answer soon.

I´m sorry by my mistakes in ortography.

    Hi Donna.

I ordered urgently sensor D6T-44l-06, sensor arrived on my company account and yet to discover that there is no proper technical documentation which i need to finish project with this sensor.

In order to use sensor I need some information about serial protocol, registeres and function of the sensor. There are general technical pdf files for that sensor which is only on introduction level.

Where can i find full documentation for that sensor?

    Best Regards

    James,

I am not familiar with force sensors, however, the Omron 2SMPP family gage pressures sensors are very small in size and cost effective.

    Dear Madam,

We have experienced certain problems with your mass flow sensor D6F-10A5-000.

Our test bed consists of a particulate filter, a sample filter for gas (NO2) normally 7-8 µgm-3, your mass flow meter,  a plenum to filter out pump noise and a rotary vane pump.

The flow is nominally 0,5 lpm. Pressure drop negligible.

Earlier in the lab we had two “dead” flow meters. Cause of death unknown.

In May and June we tested 3 units in parallel. One sensor malfunctioned very shortly after about two weeks of running. The sensor was exchanged immediately.

Towards the end of our 8 week test the two other units also failed.

The sensor is fed a stable 12 VDC.

The sensor reports zero flow and the system consequently speeds up the pump to maintain flow.

The analysis shows a very high concentration with almost no flow! Parallel samplers show normal values.

What leads to the failure? As far as we now, no water has entered the sensor.

We would appreciate if you could enlighten us as we think that this sensor is used world-wide and should expect longer life time.

    Looking forward to your answer

    Kind regards
