Problem with MICROSTACK BASE BOARD and L80

Hello,

I try to use these two modules with RPi2 :

MICROSTACK BASE BOARD - MICROSTACK - ADAPTER CARTE ADD-ON POUR RASPBERRY PI | Farnell element14

Following instructions, I have installed all necessary software in Raspbian but without any success : I have a GPS time out error using cgps -s

Is it because the GPS hasn't fix any position ?

Can I use this GPS without any antenna ?

I suspect the module to be brocken...

Any help would be very appreciated.

Try cat /dev/ttyAMA0 if this doesn't work, then you need to reconfigure /root/cmdline.txt.

I tested this, and it's working properly.

finally, it was because I made indoors tests without any antenna ! Putting Microstack GPS near window solved the problem !
