Need soldering recommendations

I have a Dell R710 server motherboard where a electrolytic cap got knocked off of it. The legs are still there though. I ordered a couple of replacements and tried to unsolder the legs in the board, but can't seem to get enough heat to them to flow the solder. There aren't any pads on the top or bottom of the board around the legs so I'm assuming that the copper traces are buried in a layer in-between. I've never dealt with this before. My current solder station will do up to 600f, but I think a different approach is called for? Possibly a different piece of equipment?

Perhaps take a look at the recent video on desoldering here if you haven't already done so: Workbench Wednesdays 37: Desoldering Wick Tips and Tricks with Superwick

On my PS4, I had such trouble with the HDMI port. I used my Porter Cable heat gun on max with a tip that tapered the air flow down to about 1/2". Desoldering Tip When Nothing is Working For You | element14…

A couple of suggestions: a) don't de-solder them, since the original wire legs are still there, you could solder the new capacitor to those legs. or b) use plenty of solder on the tip of your soldering…
