Good luck with your application, I have been trying to install the course material in some of the machines I have and I still have not succeeded. I'm having a lot of problems for the installation of the virtual machine, I thought it would be simpler, but there are many hours of downloads and installations and they do not go well. I don't know if in the end I will be able to participate.

My four hard disks 1 Tb and 2Tb  hard disk already dead with laptop dead, after crash.  Now using less GB hdd, I will need to buy new for this HDD.

It is huge file that's why. Some downloaded web installer might have corrupted files. Your download might be corrupted .

Can you tell you were trying to install on Windows or LInux.

I have installed the virtual machine on Windows 11. On the second attempt I have already managed to create the virtual machine, installed Ubuntu and Vitis complete with the version indicated for the course. Anyway I think I will follow the course from Vitis/Vivado for windows and I will use the Linux virtual machine only for Petalinux.

I am going to review the contents of the design challenge this weekend. Hopefully, I can get some ideas for the event. I am still thinking about whether I need to learn Xilinx HLS this time or not.

I have to first hope to get selected and they accept certain things of the proposal. In my earlier 2 or 3 proposals, I was not shortlisted.

For my Application idea, it need expensive purchases, as cannot afford budget.

So, looking cheaper application but it still need lot computation etc.  Not only this, I m involved in personal problems and pending research submission. 

I still hope that I will participate in this.

I had submitted in 2 tracks.

If I succeed in the second one and if I do submit that also, that will be my patent modified idea and my new patent only. 

The first one idea is in cheaper budget as has to build something.

Submitted new application where they dont have to think on certain things of the proposal.

I will make after selection or rejection.
