Overview, week 5

2 Dec 2013

Hello all,

I'm catching up in time, which means that some of you might not have had time to post this week. All in all, since the start of the challenge we've already seen more than 100 blog posts in this group on the PSOC4, and that's really good!

Update on the complete challenge

Here are some posts to get you started if you jumped into this challenge, and didn't get the full context:

A word about deadlines

This is a challenge; probably the greatest challenge will be to get your projects finished in time! The community of element14 will also choose a winner, by public voting. That voting opens at December 16th, so it would be nice to have a nice post about your project by that time, just to get a good total view of what you've done. The voting, and the challenge, remains open until the 17th of January.

"My weekly view"

The amount of blog posts is declining a bit; I guess you're all really crunching your brains now to get to better solutions and don't have time to share your inner thoughts with us, (sometimes quiet) readers of the blog! I'm repeating myself to say that it's really cool to see what you're doing with the PSOCs. I'll probably repeat more often image Cosmin, Abjihit and Yuri showed some great applications in the 'Creator' interface, where custom blocks and Cypress-provided blocks help simplifying the interface between microcontroller and fysical world. Both on a hardware and on a software level! Also, Montes' WS2812 decoder is very nice work, I have a weak spot for reading protocols with very little resources (and yes, you may call me a geek....)!

Good luck to all contestants!

    Hi Victor,

    Good update.

I think I have at least read all of the posts.  There are some that I have not responded to just from a time to post issues.

Overall, I think the posts are very good.  I have learned a lot and I look forward to seeing the final implementations.
