This webinar will demonstrate how to successfully design with high-performance precision data converters, using a AFG3100 series Signal Generator, MSO46B Oscilloscope and DMM7510 Multimeter from Tektronix, and Analog Devices’ AD4858 Evaluation Platform.
Newer generations of data converters are faster, higher-resolution and pack in more channels than ever before, placing more importance on power management to maximise system performance and minimise impacts of noise sources.
Using evaluation hardware for the AD4858 20-bit Data Acquisition System and its supporting software, this webinar will share tips and tricks to measure, verify and optimise data converter performance with Tektronix bench tools.
Analog Devices will introduce the AD4858 and its evaluation environment, share best-practice for successful precision design, and describe a power management solution that ensures converter performance and system efficiency, every time.
A live Q&A session will follow the presentations and demonstration, with precision converter and power management expertise from ADI, and test and measurement guidance from Tektronix.

EVAL-AD4858FMCZ is an evaluation kit. It is designed to demonstrate the performance of the AD4858 and provide access to many included configuration options that are accessed via an easy to use ACE plug-in graphical interface. The EVAL-AD4858FMCZ on-board components include also the LTC6655 high precision, low drift, 4.096V voltage reference (not used by default), LT1761, low noise, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 5V low dropouts (LDOs) and LT8330 low quiescent current (IQ) boost converter. |
MSO46B 4-BW-1500 is a 4 series MSO with 1.5GHz bandwidth. It offers better visibility into complex systems by offering four and six channel models with a 13.3-inch high-definition (1,920 x 1,080) display and highly intuitive user interface. Applications such as embedded systems, three-phase power electronics, automotive electronics, power supply design, and DC-to-DC power converters, require the observation of more than four analogue signals to verify and characterize device performance, and to debug challenging system issues. FlexChannel technology enables each channel input to be used as a single analogue channel, eight digital logic inputs (with the TLP058 logic probe ordered separately), or simultaneous analogue and spectrum views with independent acquisition controls for each domain. |
The DMM7510 from Keithley combines all the advantages of a precision digital multimeter, a graphical touchscreen display, and a high speed, high resolution digitizer to create an industry first: a graphical sampling multimeter. The digitizer gives the DMM7510 unprecedented signal analysis flexibility; the five-inch capacitive touchscreen display makes it easy to observe, interact with, and explore measurements with “pinch and zoom” simplicity. This combination of high performance and high ease of use offers unparalleled insight into your test results.

The series 2281S single channel, precision DC supply and battery simulator innovatively integrates the functions of high-precision power supply, battery charger, and battery simulator. It is able to analyse the DC consumption of a device under test, test a battery, and generate a battery model based on battery charging process and simulate a battery based on the battery model. The 2281S-20-6 can output up power to 20V and 6A and sink current up to 1A. |
