Why Haven't You Signed Up for an element14 Webinar Lately?

I'm a bit perplexed: with a community of nearly a half million members, I am not seeing many members sign up. We offer webinars to the community because they offer useful information for the working engineer. They are offered by experts in their fields. From my point of view, they are a good deal (free) and worth anyone's time. So, here's my question: why haven't you signed up for a webinar lately?

rscasny this may be hard, but try to gather the topics of interest to the members. For me, my hot buttons are FPGA demo's (less the marketing info) and Linux BSP's like Petalinux and Yocto building the OS. So maybe a survey periodical, since things do change over time would help.

The recording is more convenient in my time sched.

The only problem with that is I loose out on Q&A.

That is funny gam3t3ch, cause I've tried the same but somehow I get interrupted, then I have to watch the recording cause I missed part of the webinar.

Sometimes my schedule gets a bit busy and try to tend as many webinar's as possible I enjoy them as its information on things I currently didn't know about or wanted to know more about so its a win win. I review the recordings when I do miss them tho. I think its a total benefit for the community both having live and recordings. maybe have a webinar badge that you can get and have it so the more the webinars the higher the badge when sign into the live event.

I have watched a few webinar's on my cellphone while at work.....don't tell the boss.

My only issue with the webinars is timing. I am a maker/hobbyist, I'm only able to spend time on those activities when not at work (non-business hours EST).

When I hit the others in the vote had these two points in mind 1. Timing (It is my work hours in office) and 2. Too much in depth technical webinar topics. But as I scroll down the comments these have already been conveyed by other members and I was late. Always I watch the recordings of the webinar and comment if I have something to say. That’s my kind of Q&A

A slow internet speed stops me, mine peaks at 0.9Mbps and drops to 20-30Kbps at times!
Average is around 2-300Kbps for most of the day.
Broadband - but slower than 56Kbps dial-up!!
