Finally took the time to reorganize the workbench!

Hello everyone!

Following the "What are your Tips for an Organized Workbench?" share and win competition, I got a few ideas on to how to reorganize my utterly cluttered workbench so that it could accommodate everything in a better way.

And I must say that I'm pleased with the result:

I made the shelf taller so that the printer can go beneath it, leaving more space in front of it. And as it was tall enough, I even added drawers, made from ready made "3 drawers cabinet" found at the local hardware store.

Clear boxes and a gutter chute angle were really good ideas that I borrowed from the competition. Now the glue gun is readily available without a tangle of cables!

It's not perfect, but I felt that it was important to highlight the good ideas coming from here.

I understand where you're coming from with the temperature variances, I bought an enclosure for my 3D printer after I observed the PM2.5/PM10 values skyrocketing on a print (and numerous journal articles…

It looks good. I recognize the cut ABS holder idea from the tips.

I did some fall cleaning today. Out with the old and in with the new.

Six years ago I mounted some power supplies on a sheet of plywood, bolted on a few regulators and a bread board to create a test bench. I was doing a lot with Pi's and Arduino microcontrollers. My office became a bedroom as COVID condensed two families into one home. The bench board was extremely portable not pretty.

Well it is gone. I replaced the menagerie with a formal bench power supply. I had hoped to secure a P.S. from my second place finish in the  Spring Clean Competition Winners Announcement . The P.S. pick was only available on the other side of the pond. I did received a gift card as an option so, on the weekend I went Amazon shopping. I accept the P.S. is no where near the quality of the prize offering but it will work on my budget.

Today while working in the driveway switching car tires from summer to winters a Fedex truck stopped to make a delivery.  What was your biggest project Disaster? We are asking e14 in our Join, Share & Win Competition it seems I was selected a winner for publicly confessing my worst disaster.

I left the car on the jack while I went inside to take a peak at the Arduino Uno R4. I love that it comes secured to a plastic holder that has screw holds to mount. YES!

Thank you to E14 Community for offering some great prizes. Better yet, thanks for providing a community where I can benefit from the knowledge and experience of other technology professionals. I'm confident in saying I would be struggling in my retirement if it wasn't for E14. The community allows me to dabble in technology, share some of my knowledge and take on professional type projects without have to answer to management. Double YES!

My thanks to those who selected me as a winner. I would participate even if there were no prizes.
