My prediction for the future will be Wireless Integration into more every day objects. We are already seeing wireless tyre pressure sensing both in motor racing and in everyday vehicles. This makes sense…

I think that 2016 will reveal some new battery technologies that will greatly improve our energy density in a safer chemistry than is currently available.

    Future Prediction :

IOT will be the simple way to do with. Technology look beyond to reach "IOE: Internet of Everything". Everything can be communicate to each other with common language, general language. No cabling No wire needed to connect to.  Wireless connection can be bonded all such as 3G LTE WiFi Bluetooth etc. Everything will be embedded some kind of AI (Artificial Intelligent). Normal judgement , thinking, simple decision to other IOE.  Some IOE can learning from each experience and can share to same kind of  IOE to improve their experience. Another thing are POWER , electricity  , will gear to CLEAN & GREEN concept. Not only to lower cost but also improve of efficiency of utilize electric power from Natural Source such as SUN, WIND, WATER etc. That's all of my future prediction.

My prediction is the Bio hacking because they begin to add biotechnology in all things. Things connected, it is now. The biotechnology will be more integrated and the hack more developed .

With the explosion of tech in the last 20 years and the open source movement, I feel that the future is unlimited and that technology will impact ALL phases of our life.

Future Technology will also change us, as a species, and I hope it will be for the better.

My prediction is a kind of combination Integrated wireless with IOT with Bio-Hacking purposes.

The trend has already started (like smart watches which can measure pulses) but more complex devices and more autonomous devices connected (or intergrated) to human's body, communicte with brain or predict sicknesses, heart attacks etc.

I believe bio-sensors and telemetry of them is the next trend.

IoT is now becoming a (somewhat confused) reality.

Cheap WiFi (and BLE) chipsets are more and more available for DIY.ers, too: we will probably see a huge increase of this technology in 2016.

Bluetooth are adding functionality during 2016 aimed at IoT, extended distnace, higher speed, and a mesh capability.

Bluetooth Technology to Gain Longer Range Faster Speed Mesh Networking in 2016

These features will, I predict, push bluetooth towards a bigger share of IoT market if it means we can design compatible products. We need the mesh to be open to connection unlike zigbee that allows products to be incompatible and non-meshable.
