Solution - please add 13.77.82.141 avnetagent.iotconnect.io" to c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Everyone is down today so I doubt it. They’re not that strict anyhow. It’s a lax contest. They expect people to not connect EVERYDAY, but the goal is to put in the effort and try from what I was told.

Still dead. I ping it using an VM instance in Google Cloud, no luck. Definitely something is wrong in the server. It's not my ISP's problem.

But the problem is with name resolution, o you have to add it to host files.

1) Note that the computer on which you run the registration application must be connected to the internet!

2) If PC internet connection is ok, then you may have a DNS issue. One user reported that avnetagent.iotconnect.io could not be resolved with CloudFlare DNS server.

- Try access that avnetagent.iotconnect.io address directly from your browser, if this fails then DNS is the source of your problem.

avnetagent.iotconnect.io - can not be resolved.... C:\Users\admin>ping avnetagent.iotconnect.io Ping request could not find host avnetagent.iotconnect.io. Please check the name and try again. Are you sure that it is a correct URL? I checked it from 2 diffrent internet connections!

Thanks for your feedback. FYI, that avnetagent.iotconnect.io should be addressable from your browser, but the avnetagent cannot be pinged

The domain however can be pinged from a command prompt
ie.

Already had added it into the host file day one of the issue reading older posts. Still had the issues. It was definitely a server issue. I used 5 DNS providers and the entire morning the website wouldn’t resolve. I’ll have to check when I get home for today’s status for myself.
