USB to Serial Bridge Evaluation Board
The EVBUSB2SER board is part of NXP's solutions for communication, and provides another way to connect embedded system via USB.
The EVBUSB2SER board is a communication bridge between the USB and serial data, which can be any RS232/RS485 or TTL. The EVBUSB2SER board supports baud rates from 300 through 115200 bps, 8 data bits, odd or even parity, 1 or 2 stop bits, software (xon/xoff) and hardware flow control.
The USB2SER is a USB to UART bridge controller on a 5 x 5 mm lead free QFN24. It is a simple low cost solution to enable a USB for an embedded system with a UART port, reducing external component counts. It supports USB 2.0 fullspeed and TTL RS232 or RS485 UART with options for hardware flow control, Software Flow control (Xon-Xoff), even or odd parity, and stop bits configuration.
