Who wants to review a free pcDuino v2?

fustini
fustini over 12 years ago

I received a pcDuino v2 with integrated Wi-Fi at Maker Faire New York 2013.  I thought it would be fun to have someone from element14 Community take it for a spin.  Here's my gallery of the board: https://plus.google.com/photos/117542001281850354871/albums/5940327956141042529?banner=pwa

I'm going to give this pcDuino v2 for free to a lucky Community member with the request that the winner please write a review (either in the blog here or somewhere else on the web).  It doesn't have to be anything fancy so don't be intimidated.  Sorry, no minors, you must be 18 years of age or older!

To enter, do the following:

  • Reply to this post with a short description of why you are interested (1 to 2 sentences is fine)
  • I'll will pick a winner at random on Wednesday, November 6th, at 5pm US CDT.

Note: I'm located in Chicago and will ship it for free to the winner using the lowest cost option available.  If the winner is located outside the US, then the winner will be responsible for paying any customs fees or duty that may apply.  I will list the value as $55 USD.

Cheers,

Drew

I would like to review it for possible inclusion in my upcoming book on Hacking and Penetration Testing With Low Power Devices.

It's not reviewed there.  The box near the top even says "No reviews yet!".  Seems rather clear to me.

Reddy Poreddy - are you interested in receiving the board to review it yourself?  If so, I'll add to the list of names I'll use to draw a random winner from.

That would be interesting to compare to the R-PI, BB, and BBB.  Throw my name in the hat Drew.

Years ago I experimented with embedded Linux as a controller.  The pcDuino would be interesting to try in a similar project.  Please add me to the list and thank you Drew for the opportunity.

@bad_boy_y do you wish to be entered in the list of names I'll randomly draw from for the  pcDuino?
