Beaglebone CAN bus cape

Question

Hi, Has anyone got experience of using the CAN bus cape at the same time as the LCD4 or LCD7 capes. I just wondered if there were any conflicts. Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris,

I don't believe it has any conflict at first glance (i.e. I'm only 90% sure). According to this link, the CAN cape uses the UART1 pins (and from the ref manual it is in a different mode), and looking at the LCD4 schematic (here) I coun't see that it made use of the UART1 pins. So, in theory you should be ok.
