Your answer is correct, EAGLE currently does not support more than
one core.

Hmmm... Interesting... Come to think of it, there aren't many places
where multiple threads are needed. I could see multiple threads when
rendering layers then alpha blend the multiple results into one
display. I can also see multi thread use when running CAM jobs - one
per section. But for the most part, eagle runs at the user's speed.
Wise use of an AGP would probably be the best area in which to focus
speed-up efforts.
POSIX threads and POSIX mutexes are supported on all three platforms,
but as was mentioned earlier, handling multiple threads is a non-trivial
matter.
