Obviously it's very complicated to multiply the X Coordinate of each

primitive by -1 and shift the viewport....

I can remember wanting this since the DOS age (must be around 1996....)

See mirror-board.ulp and the new

mirror-board-remirror-element-swap-layer.ulp.

  Not an ideal solution but shows why the multiply by -1 and shift

viewport might not work, since that's exactly what it does.

        nice if either the 'Layer Setup' checking could be disabled,

        or a selectable LAYER could be ignored by the DRC.

The DRC doesn't tell you that there are unrouted airwires that's true,

however there is a means to check. If you click the Ratsnest button look

at the bottom left of your screen EAGLE will tell you the number of

airwires remaining. If you've routed everything then it will say

"Nothing to do".

We don't include it in the DRC, because the general recommendation is to

run the DRC often and this would generate many nuisance errors.

Maybe this is something we can address in a future release of EAGLE.

In the meantime use the ratsnest command to make sure you don't have any

airwires left.

I wish I knew how the softwqare works, so all I can do is make suggestions. One program I use often is WinQcad (no longer supported). It can flip boards and back with just a menu command. It can also make custom packages (pads) of any kind with just telling it the X and Y sizes and how many rows or colums you need. No need to change grid sizes back and forth. One other thing on my wish list is for the board view to highlight (only highlight) unrouted wires. I just found out you can use your cursor to locate unrouted wires, but by doing that the router starts routing. And by the way, why does the program not alert you that  all routing is not done? Besides the line way down on the bottom left. Too easy to forget/miss. Yes, I did send a board out that was not 100% routed!
