Trying to create a circular shaped PCB

Delete the rectangular board outline from the Dimension layer and

replace it with a circle.

I might add that if you make the line width of the circle zero, it will

fill in, which is NOT what you want.  Instead, make the line width some

arbitrarily small value, like 1 mil, or 0.1mm.

or use the wire command with curve or radius options to draw two 180°

arcs

     wire (x1 y1) +180 (x2 y2) +180 (x1 y1);

where +180 defines the angle between arc start and end point.

Can you elaborate on how to layout PCB viewed from the other side? I can create a custom library part that's mirrored to the original dimension, but how do I tell EagleCAD that I want it to be on the 'bottom' layer?

I tried your suggestion for 2) and I think I am good on that one.

I tried your suggestion for 2) and I think I am good on that one.

No need for a custom library part. Chuck gave you the answer in hist first

post: just place the part, then use the Mirror command/icon to flip the part

over to the bottom layer.

I hope this is a circuit board you intend to route out yourself, because

just about every board house I know is going to charge you a fortune for

milling round boards, particularly when they're that small.

Thats the point of the mirror command.   If you take an smt component

and mirror it,  then turn off the display of the top layer you will find

that all the pads for the component are still visible because its now on

the bottom layer.    You will see that all the associated text (value,

name) have also been mirrored.
