Idea to improve exploration of the EAGLE libraries

Hello,

 

Incorporating a second vertical bar at each library facilitates the exploration, Because scans independently each library, rather than explore the full vertical bar

 

It is a good idea +1 or -1?

    I do understand what you're suggesting, but currently I don't understand the use-case. Do you want to compare the contents of two library folders, and hence you wish for both to be open and viewable on the screen at the same time?

    I personally find the opposite to be true, and would rather that open library folders would 'auto-close' if I opened a different folder without closing a previously opened one. There is nothing I usually wish to compare in libraries (but I many be using it differently to you).

    I can see a benefit of your suggestion in that it may speed up scrolling, but an 'auto-close' (or just remembering to close manually) would be

    just as fast for scrolling purposes, and would require no additional scrollbars (and I dislike the multiple sub-panes in general, because it doesn't scale for smaller displays, because then a greater bulk of the view is taken up by the library name header bars and the additional scroll bars.
