Is there anyway to exclude parts from the PCB

In Eagle Cad, is there anyway to exclude components on the schematic from the board view? I have several parts that will be wired to screw terminals. They still need to be shown in the schematic, but I do not need or want them on the board. I can't leave them outside the board area, so what's a guy to do? Thanks...

    "TROLL"?! Excuse me for not being an expert in Eagle. And if you meant that Eagle itself wasn't up to date... I'm one revision behind. So sue me.

     

     

    @Jorge -> I just now saw your reply and I will try that tonight. I do think that that may be step-intensive... but if it works...

     

    @CadSoft Guest -> I have seen kicad in the repositories, but I've never tried playing with it. I may try that this weekend as well.

     

    To those of you who actually had something constructive to add, I truly appreciate your help!

    No, you're not the troll. "Poll-was Poll-was" is a persistent troll who

    hasn't kept up to date. See Jorge's reply (which you now have). I don't

    think it's overly intensive and it's the right way to handle the

    specific issue you began with. This half of the discussion got

    side-tracked onto a different issue.

    KiCad and gEDA remind me of the old days when I was using command line

    tools like vi and make along with eqn, tbl and troff instead of integrated

    environments like Visual Studio or Eclipse and modern publishing tools.

    LOL!  (It's great that they're open source and such, but as we say,

    "they're only free if your time isn't worth anything!")

     

    Funny thing is, I LOVE that EAGLE has a command line and that I can write

    a script or ULP to do just about anything!  That's what makes EAGLE so

    powerful and keeps it my favorite tool.
