I was wondering if anyone knows of a case for the Model B?

    William,

I am not sure of an official case or not, but I plan on making enclosures myself.

What would you like to see in a case?

The forum at the maker's site is currently out of service due to high volume, but I remember there being talk about a case being at least in the design stage. They are also working on expensions, so who knows what's really in store?

I would like the case to include both a top and bottom (sometimes cases don't include a bottom to save money), holes for all the ports and SD card slot.

Also it should have ventilation and the Raspberry Pi logo on it.

Take a look at the Raspberry Pi orgs forum when it comes back up. There is a long thread about user designed cases, even one that is made from Lego bricks complete with a bill of materials.

    Hello,

I have a requirement for two different cases for the Pi, firstly the company I work for will be producing an STB for the home designed to allow people access to online learning, volunteering and even teaching. The second use of the Pi is as an EPOS unit as our service has an alternative currency which people can use online but also in local retailers.

Any help that you folks could offer would be great!

    Hello wwinter86,

I was searching for Raspberry Pi casing as well (and no luck), until one point I just designed and printed it out myself. Because of that, I am having a Kickstarter project, which producing Raspberry Pi and other SBCs' casing. The whole casing design is in 2 parts, top and bottom. All the ports (include SD card slot) can be individually chosen to expose or not to.

If the project Kickstarter got funded, I will be able to

release all the current versions, extend the variations and combinations,

implement other SBC's and even customize them for anybody on-demand (in your case, ventilation and the Pi logo can be done).

There are some samples casing from the project on Thingiverse too. Check it out.

Hope you find something there, which suit your needs.
