Best overclock configuration, Who has it?

wallarug
wallarug over 13 years ago

We all know that there are people out there who are playing around with their little Pis (incl. me image).  But who has the best overclocking configuration?

I don't mind if you have overvolted, but do tell us that.

Here is the 4 things that you can tell us that are in your config.txt file.

arm_freq=

core_freq=

gpu_freq=          (or the other options for this config option such as h264_freq, v3d_freq, etc)

sdram_freq=

The best configuration I have found on the internet so far is:

arm_freq= 1150

core_freq= (not stated)

gpu_freq= 500

sdram= 600

over_voltage=8

My current configuration is:

arm_freq=932

core_freq=461

gpu_freq=350

sdram_freq=500

NO OVERVOLT

Let me define a stable configuration:

     a. Your RPi starts up normally

     b. You do not experince a 'crash' under normal operation

     c. You have been running the configuration with minimial issues

     d. You may only experience a crash or system failure due to external devices

WARNING: Setting any of the parameters which over volt your Raspberry Pi will set a permanent bit within the SOC and your warranty is void. So If you care about the warranty do not adjust voltage.

Who will have the best overclock???

Happy overclocking image

    I run mine at 1.4Ghz with overvolt an overvolt of 9V@2A. I have heatsinks and a small liquid nitrogen track along the main circuitry. The entire unit is fan forced as well. I don't know how long this device will last but it certainly runs quake 3 fast!!! image

    My current settings are

    arm_freq=1478

    core_freq=789

    gpu_freq=600

    sdram_freq=1000

    I had it at

    arm_freq=2400

    core_freq=1200

    gpu_freq=1030

    sdram_freq=2052

    over volted at 24V@6A (from a battery charger)

    but this burning smell started erupting and before long the rpi tracks ignited and made this aweful burning smell
