Raspberry Pi as an Access Point.

I would like my Raspberry Pi to act as a wireless access point. These are the current settings in /etc/network/interfaces:

auto lo

iface lo inet loopback

iface eth0 inet dhcp

allow-hotplug wlan0

iface wlan0 inet static

wireless-essid "wireless"

wireless-mode ad-hoc

wireless-channel auto

address 192.168.12.1

netmask 255.255.255.0

gateway 192.168.12.2

#wpa-psk "robotics"

Any ideas how I can turn this into a dhcp server that can give out IP addresses? I really am getting tired of changing to manual ever time on PC.

Any help will be apreciated.

Though if you turn on hostapd, you will probably wreak havoc with my wireless haha

I'm using php on my Pi at the moment
Just finished up doing the first version, very very messy though haha.
Will upload it somewhere for you guys to try

I was told that html5 (html+CSS+Java Script) is the way to go.

I don't know why many people are not using this coding langauge. I am going to start learning this langauge very soon and then see if I can host this on a websever running on the raspberry pi. I will create something (I don't know what) and let you know how well it works (IN THE DISTANT FUTURE).

I wish you the best of luck with your project and I will be following it intently. I like the idea of a GUI setup for hostapd and wireless.

I haven't looked into html5 much as I'm already familiar with php.
I may look into porting it over to html5 later though.
