Hi!
As topic suggests I want to change the powerconnection from the flimsy micro usb to a sturdy dc power plug.
Is this doable?
I was thinking something in the line of DC kontakt 2,5 mm chassi > DC-kontakter | Kjell.com
Thanks in advance

Not on the board since you have no provision for it there.
You could however have make a micro USB to DC socket fly lead to do this.
Easiest way to do this would be to get a micro USB lead cut off the unused end and solder the power connections on to the DC socket.
Personally I wouldn't bother unless you have a specific reason the micro USB is pretty tough after all it's what phones use every day for years on end!

Thanks for the fast reply.
The reason i want to change the connector is that i'm planning on building the pi into an old genesis/mega drive. And i'm afraid that moving the console will break the power supply.
Also it looks more authentic =)
