Fabriquer un kinect-like autonome pour mobile (Android/IOS)

Bonjour,

2 Camera pi NoIR

plusieurs LED Infra Rouge.

Merci d'avoir lu.

Not so much crazy, but very advanced in both hardware setup an software usage. Think this like a robot with sensors. I would also think about a cost versus a budget to keep project creep into expensive category. The Pi compute module especially. For Ben Heck show this could be easily a 3 plus episodes. Maybe a more detail plan should be tried with estimated costs.

    Good luck,

    Clem

    Thank for your answer.

So there is the material i have for now :

    1 Rapsberry Pi 2 Model B

1 Pi camera NoIR (i have buy it because of the 90 FPS, i think that can help for tracking mouvement)

    2 IR emiter : Emetteur infrarouge (IR) Kingbright 940NM 940 nm 40 ° 5 mm - Vente Emetteur infrarouge (IR) Kingbright 940NM 940 nm 40 °…

    and some reflective tape

my idea is basic for now:

track the position in 3d and the orientation of the headset.

i have made some mark with the reflective tape on the VR headset. (like the wiimote ans the sensor bar system)

i need to try to catch the IR data from the camera (with ligth filter i think, i'll take it from an hold wiimote) and use it as a position cursor in 3d (to track only the head for now)

Can you confirm I'm on the good way ?

    Regards,
