Waiting for SD card (settings partition)

Ok, this is gonna be a long post, so hold on to your boot straps...

I bought this Raspberry Pi 2 the other day, and tried to use and Amazon Kindle Fire Power connector with 0.85 Amps. I saw in the getting started info that it really needs 1.8 amps or more (up to 2.5 amps) to do its thing. I figured I would give it a shot anyway. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? So anyway, I saw a little rainbow, and was told that it meant that there was not enough power. So I went and bought a 2 amp charger (this cost fully half of what the Pi cost) and all is well with the world. Right...

I bought a 4GB SD card that had NOOBS pre-installed on it. Unfortunately, this did NOT have a microSD card in it like I thought it might. The dealer offered to buy it back, but I declined, so that is on me.

I tried the old copy/paste from my computer. (Copy from the SD Card onto my computer, then paste to a 4 GB microSD card I had from another application) I was able to get the files from my computer to the 4 GB microSD card, but when I put it into my Pi, I had the red power light lit, and also the green act light was constant. I was told that the NOOBS software might be at issue, so I downloaded the Raspian-Jessie software and after trying to put the file onto the 4 GB card, it wouldn't let me because the file was too large to install it with the iso file. So, I went and bought a 32 GB microSD card put out by Toshiba. (It cost a dollar less than the SanDisk, and I am a cheap broke bast... err... you get the drift... So I bought it because I didn't see any other difference.)

When I finally got it up and running, I was going to try to host my web site. I wasn't far into it when I ran into an user name/password issue. At this time, there should have only been two user names and passwords on this device. (The pi/raspberry, and the username/password I defined.) Neither one of them worked so since I wasn't very far into it, I decided to go ahead and reformat the SD card (32GB) and start from scratch. (btw, I have used both gparted and SDformatter to format these SD cards) Here is where the current issue lies. The Pi will no longer boot. This issue is Waiting for SD card (settings partition). I have tried reformatting the card many times to no avail.

Any help in this matter would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
