I'm pretty new to Raspberry Pi and seen some really intresting things you can do with it via The Ben Heck Show. I was wondering if there is any development out there to make it in to some sort of SIM compatable (preferbally on T-Mobile's Network) smartphone complete with the Pi Camera, a touchscreen (capacitive), a USB (or equivant) SIM card reader/writer, and an accelerometer breakout board. I have probably left out a few bits of hardware, but these are all the basic functions I need along with keeping some RS232 protocol lines opened and 4 analog GPIO ports opened for some other bits I need to add. I need this to run Gingerbread verson of android. Yes, this device needs to be able to make and recieve calls, text messages, picture messages and access the web just like an android smart phone. I know I need to pay for the service through the said carrier I had mentioned before. The reason for the SIM reader/writer is just in case something happeneds to my built device(s), I can swap the SIM card back into one of my android smartphones and be on the way until I am able to make repairs. I am far out from actually building this explained device, and am still in the research and development (R&D) stages. I also need this device to take over control of a computer via bluetooth and act as a keyboard and mouse. Some of this is probably impossable for just the Pi to acomplish, but Im putting the Raspberry Pi high on my pedistil because I really like it's design and form factor. Very east to mod the board and ports on it as well. Thanks ahead of time for any advice you can give me.
