Key board print on screen

Recently,I bought the Raspberry Pi B+ and I am using a wireless Keyboard mouse.

The problem is that when I press " with Shiftkey to produce on screen " i get symbol displayed on screen @.

I also tried to correct by changing config file keyboard info from gb to US, but no change.

Kindly help how can I correct this.

Hi. I had the same problem using a wirelsss keyboard. i also tried switching between GB and US English without success. I found a workaround at thetime: use Shift + " on the keyboard to get the @ symbol, and use SHIFT + 2 to get the double quotation mark of ". It's a bit of a pain, but it worked. I ended up going back to a wired keyboard out of frustration so if anyone else has a real solution versus a workaround, I'd appreciate it, too!

This is a long shot, but you might be able to use xmodmap to change the keyboard mapping. I don't know if the RasPi OS you're using uses the X windows keyboard mapping or something else.

Anyway, start with man xmodmap and take it from there.
