Ender 3 pro

I have had my ender for about a year now and I just replaced the z motor on it the wires are good but when I try to home the motor just humms and doesn't move then a home error shows on screen and says reset printer is it a software issue help

It sounds like the motor windings are not connected properly. Is it possible the connector orientation got swapped? Is it an identical motor? (same voltage and current requirement)

When I move it by hand it's fine because I thought at the time it went bad when I put the new motor I didn't update software I can send you a video and pic if you like
