With the advancements with tablets, tablets are comparable to even computers, more specifically laptops. I have seen some pretty awesome specifications with some tablets, that would make some of them better…

Well, that is a talent all on it's own. I went to college for Game Art and Design, so I am used to using a pencil/ stylus to draw.

Tough call,  so let's look at the con side from my side.  Tablets ( except some Apple) don't have cellular data, can be ' off balance ' from the difference between battery and board driving the screen ( eBay A23 tablets anyone?).  I have had issues with the power button getting crushed and not working ( heat/replace fix).

Cell phones have lower battery life, smaller screens, ' issues ' reading and writing to NTFS USB drives.

Now the things that I like on both, Bluetooth standard.  Screen rotation already turned on.  USB master mode ( can plug in thumb drive) and some utilities in the appropriate app store ( FREE ) for all kinds of mischief.

The real question is, what do you want it to be doing for you?

The only things is, I can't draw very well with my finger as I can with a mouse and pointer, so I still have to use windows 7 sometimes hahaha

With the advancements with tablets, tablets are comparable to even computers, more specifically laptops.

I have seen some pretty awesome specifications with some tablets, that would make some of them better than even my laptop in some cases.

Although both of these are meant for portability as well, so most people will prefer a smartphone over a tablet, considering it is more portable.

Personally I don't like carrying larger screen things like tablets I like Mobility with portability. image If I have to buy something like that I will go for netbook/notebook.
Even I don't like carrying smartphones with screen size larger than 4.5".
