Correct.. This oscilloscope is a rebadged unit from UNI-T. Unfortunately there is no firmware upgrade nor factory hard reset that could deal with this problem. I have seen similar issue (stuck on boot…

Perhaps you can try resetting it to factory default. Some units can be reset by pressing and holding a button while powering on. See if the manual has any suggestions, otherwise, it may need to go back…

I believe there is no firmware upgrade available. If it's still under warranty, I'd contact customer service of the shop you purchased it from.

The manual suggests to look on the farnell product page. I looked in UK, NZ, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and on the Sinuss reseller shops and couldn't find a download for firmware. The Software is available on several of the sites, but those contain driver, VISA runtime and manual. I could not locate firmware.

To update your instrument firmware, do the following:
    1. Push the Utility button, select Function in the bottom menu,
select Configure inthe left menu, select About in the bottom menu.
View the model and the currently installed firmware version.

    2. From a PC, visit the Farnell product web page and check if the website offers
a newer firmware version. Download the firmware file.
    The file name must be*.update.
The file name can be up to 15 characters long (including the suffix).

It looks like it's the same :-. I was looking on the OWON site if I could find a brother, and didn't see one there.
Unfortunately, also only VISA and USB software available. No firmware upgrade.

I'm a bit late to the fight here.  I had something similar on a portable oscilloscope and it wound up being a power supply problem - specifically the LiPo battery had died.  If it's not within warranty, it's a direction.  Good luck.

You can contact the technical support here. We should also have a couple of tech' support on the site, TanCheeTat / cheetat  and Prasanth Arockiaraj if they're currently active.

Correct.. This oscilloscope is a rebadged unit from UNI-T. Unfortunately there is no firmware upgrade nor factory hard reset that could deal with this problem. I have seen similar issue (stuck on boot loading screen on other brands before) and the only resolution is to sent back for warranty repair. I believe Francois maybe very unfortunately to have owned this unit and he should seek Farnell customer service for return for warranty claim for such units if it is still under warranty
