What FPGA chip will the Tektronix DPO7000 series oscilloscope use? What is the role?

I used ChatGPT to ask which oscilloscopes need to use specific FPGA chips. One answer it gave me was Tektronix DPO7000 series oscilloscopes, which use Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA chips to provide high-speed data processing and real-time signal analysis functions.

FPGAs allow for flexibility to reconfigure functionality. Frequently they will be used to manage acquisitions, do math, run serial decoders, as they're fast at doing this when properly utilised in parallel.
