Feedback Requested - Brand New SDR

Hey everyone,

We’re building the next generation of RF technology at krtkl and are reaching out to the community for input.

If you’re an engineer, researcher, or developer working with SDRs or wireless systems, we’d love to hear from you. We're especially interested in understanding your current challenges, workflows, and where existing tools fall short.

    Some initial thoughts from my perspective (I might add more later):

    1. Decent software drivers for Linux (ideally source and releases. Buildable for x64, ARM) as well as a decent driver for Windows. Bonus points for Mac.

    2. Example demos for transmit and receive with Python, Matlab, GNU SDR, C++.

    3. Top quality exceptional documentation for (1) and (2). If you don't have the resources for that then hire someone, rather than pretend the problem doesn't exist. SDRs fail miserably at all or some of items 1 to 3.

    4. Ideally capable of operation down to at least 40 MHz if not lower, so that it can work with IF at such frequencies.

    5. To guild the lily, an evaluation kit with a popular single-board computer (SBC) supplied, and examples using that SBC.

    6. Some genuine reviews. No-one wants to be the guinea pig, they want to see some unbiased information before purchasing.
