GalaxC sample programs for demonstrating various features.
.gal files are mostly plain ASCII but may contain some formatting control characters that confuse your text editor, so you may need to use the XXICC Object Editor (XOE). You should be able to list them with "cat" on Unix-like systems. .xoe files generally contain graphics and require XOE.
